Honey Praline Sauce
Makes 1-1/2 cups sauce

Ingredients

cup pecan halves
|

tablespoons butter or margarine
|

1/2

cup honey
|
|
1

teaspoon all-purpose flour
|
|
|
Dash salt
|

cup whipping cream
|

1. Preheat oven to 300°F. Spread pecans in shallow pan. Bake 15 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, melt butter in small saucepan over medium heat. Blend in honey, flour and salt. Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and let cool 10 minutes. Stir in cream until smooth. Stir in pecans.

Tip
Serve over ice cream or as a topping for baked apples, poached pears or peaches.
