Creamy Fruit Blend
Yield: Makes 2 servings
Ingredients:

ripe medium banana, peeled and quartered
1
cup fat-free (skim) milk
1
small ripe peach, peeled, pitted and quartered
1/2
cup fresh or frozen unsweetened strawberries
1/2
cup white grape juice
2
tablespoons packed brown sugar
1
tablespoon lemon juice
1/2
teaspoon almond extract
Fresh fruit (optional)
Preparation:

Process all ingredients in blender or food processor until smooth. Serve immediately. Garnish with fresh fruit, if desired.
Variation:
Other fruit can be substituted in this recipe. Try raspberries, blueberries, nectarines or pineapple for your own special combination. If fresh peaches are not available, you may substitute 2/3 cup frozen peach slices that have been partially thawed.
