Sweet Treat Tortillas
Yield: Makes 4 servings
In just minutes, these soft bread-like tortillas are transformed into creamy, sweet pinwheels the entire class is sure to enjoy.
Ingredients:
4
(7- to 8-inch) flour tortillas

1/2
package (4 ounces) Neufchâtel cheese, softened

1/4
cup strawberry or other flavor spreadable fruit or preserves

1
medium banana, peeled and chopped



Preparation:
1.
Spread each tortilla with 1 ounce Neufchatel cheese and 1 tablespoon spreadable fruit; top with 1/4 of banana.

Roll up tortillas; cut crosswise into thirds.


Tip: Substitute your favorite chopped fruit for banana.Cinnamon-Spice Treats: Omit spreadable fruit and banana. Mix small amounts of sugar, ground cinnamon and nutmeg to taste into Neufchâtel cheese; spread evenly onto tortillas. Sprinkle lightly with desired amount of chopped pecans or walnuts. Top with chopped fruit, if desired; roll up. Cut crosswise into thirds. Makes 4 servings
