Yield: Makes 2 cups
Ingredients:
3/4
cup butter, softened

4-1/2
cups powdered sugar, sifted

3
tablespoons water

1
teaspoon vanilla

1/4
teaspoon lemon extract



Preparation:
1.
Beat butter in medium bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until smooth. Add 2 cups sugar. Beat at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add water, vanilla and lemon extract. Beat at low speed until well blended, scraping down side of bowl once. Beat in remaining 2-1/2 cups sugar until mixture is creamy.


Note: This frosting is perfect for piping, but is less durable than Royal Icing. Bumping, stacking and handling may damage decorations.
