Picnic Pizza Muffins
Makes 10 servings
Ingredients
1 can (12 ounces) refrigerated flaky buttermilk biscuits
3/4 pound sweet Italian sausage, removed from casings
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup canned sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon Frank’s® RedHot® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
   
Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 25 minutes
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Separate biscuits; pat into 3-inch circles. Press circles into muffin cups. Fill empty muffin cups halfway with water; set aside.
2. Cook sausage and vegetables in large nonstick skillet over high heat 5 to 8 minutes or until meat is browned, stirring to separate meat. Drain fat. Stir in pizza sauce, cheese and Frank's RedHot Sauce; mix well.
3. Mound filling into muffin cups, dividing evenly. Bake 20 minutes or until muffins are browned. Serve warm or at room temperature.
