Picnic Pizza Muffins

Ingredients

can (12 ounces) refrigerated flaky buttermilk biscuits
|
|
3/4
|
pound sweet Italian sausage, removed from casings
|
|
1/2
|
cup chopped green pepper
|
|
1/2
|
cup canned sliced mushrooms
|
|
1/2
|
cup pizza sauce
|
|
1/2
|
cup shredded mozzarella cheese
|
|
1

tablespoon Frank’s® RedHot® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
|

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Separate biscuits; pat into 3-inch circles. Press circles into muffin cups. Fill empty muffin cups halfway with water; set aside.

2. Cook sausage and vegetables in large nonstick skillet over high heat 5 to 8 minutes or until meat is browned, stirring to separate meat. Drain fat. Stir in pizza sauce, cheese and Frank's RedHot Sauce; mix well.

3. Mound filling into muffin cups, dividing evenly. Bake 20 minutes or until muffins are browned. Serve warm or at room temperature.
