Fabulous Fondue
Prep and Cook Time: 15 minutes
Yield: Makes 6 servings (about 3 tablespoons fondue per serving)
Ingredients:
1
cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/4
cup 2% milk
2
to 3 tablespoons chopped pecans or walnuts
1
large banana, sliced
2
medium apples, sliced
2
medium oranges, peeled and cut into segments
Preparation:
1.
Heat chocolate chips in small saucepan over very low heat until melted and smooth. Stir in milk and pecans; cook 1 minute.
2.
Pour fondue into serving dish; serve immediately with fruit for dipping.
Serving Suggestion:
The possibilities for fondue dippers are endless! If fresh fruit is not available, try canned fruit or dried fruit. Cut a prepared pound cake or angel food cake into chunks for dipping, or set out a basket filled with a variety of small cookies.
