Party Mix
Yield: Makes 10 cups
Ingredients:
3
cups bite-size rice cereal squares
2
cups toasted oat ring cereal
2
cups bite-size wheat cereal squares
1
cup peanuts or pistachio nuts
1
cup thin pretzel sticks
1/2
cup (1 stick) butter, melted
1
tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1
teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2
teaspoon garlic powder
1/8
teaspoon ground red pepper (optional)
Preparation:
1.
Combine cereals, nuts and pretzels in slow cooker.
2.
Mix butter, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, garlic powder and red pepper in small bowl. Pour over cereal mixture in slow cooker; toss lightly to coat.
3.
Cover; cook on LOW 3 hours, stirring well every 30 minutes. Cook, uncovered, 30 minutes more. Store cooled party mix in airtight container.
