cup thinly sliced Napa cabbage

*For hors d'oeuvres, use 2 or more thin baquettes and slice in smaller pieces.
Slice bread nearly in half horizontally, so it opens like a book. Pull out soft interior (reserve for another use, such as poultry stuffing).
Combine remaining six ingredients. Stuff bread with mixture and wrap well in heavy-duty aluminum foil.
Grill 8 to 10 inches from coals, turning frequently until bread is crispy and filling is hot about 10 to 15 minutes. Or, bake 20 minutes at 350°F until cheese is softened.
Using serrated knife, cut loaf into 1- or 2-inch-thick slices. Serve with green salad.
