Picnic Pizza Muffins


Ingredients
1 package (about 1 pound) refrigerated grand-size flaky buttermilk biscuits
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup canned sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons Frank's® RedHot® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
   
Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 25 minutes
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Separate biscuits; pat into 3-inch circles. Press circles into muffin cups. Fill empty muffin cups halfway with water. Set aside.
2. Cook beef and vegetables in large nonstick skillet over high heat 5 to 8 minutes or until meat is browned, stirring to separate meat. Drain fat. Stir in pizza sauce, cheese and Frank's RedHot Sauce; mix well.
3. Mound filling into muffin cups, dividing evenly. Bake 20 minutes or until muffins are browned. Serve warm or at room temperature.
 
Tip   You may substitute 1/2 pound Italian sausage (removed from casings) for the ground beef.
