Yield: Makes 2 cups sauce
Ingredients:
2
cans (16 ounces each) pear halves in syrup, undrained
2
tablespoons granulated sugar
1
teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1/2
teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preparation:
1.
Drain pear halves, reserving 1/4 cup syrup. Place pears, reserved syrup, granulated sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon in bowl of food processor or blender; cover. Process until smooth. Just before serving, place pear sauce in medium saucepan; heat until warm.
