Cinnamony Apple Streusel Bars
Yield: Makes 3 dozen bars
Ingredients:
1-1/4
cups all-purpose flour
1-1/4
cups graham cracker crumbs
3/4
cup packed brown sugar, divided
3/4
cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter, melted
1/4
cup granulated sugar
1
teaspoon ground cinnamon
2
apples, cored, peeled and chopped (about 2 cups)
Glaze (recipe follows)
Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 13X9-inch baking pan. Combine flour, graham cracker crumbs, 1/2 cup brown sugar, melted butter, granulated sugar and cinnamon in large bowl until well blended; reserve 1 cup crumb mixture. Press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom of prepared pan. Bake 8 minutes. Remove from oven; set aside.

Toss remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar with apples in medium bowl until sugar is dissolved; spoon apples over baked crust. Sprinkle reserved 1 cup crumb mixture over filling. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until apples are tender. Remove pan to wire rack; cool completely. Drizzle with Glaze. Let stand until set. Cut into bars.
Glaze:
Combine 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon milk in small bowl until well blended.
