Yield: Makes about 3-1/2 cups
Ingredients:
1-1/2
tablespoons olive oil

cloves garlic, minced

1
can (28 ounces) Italian plum tomatoes, undrained

1/4
cup tomato paste

teaspoons dried basil

1/2
teaspoon sugar

1/4
teaspoon salt

1/4
teaspoon red pepper flakes



Preparation:
1.
Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic; cook and stir 3 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.


Tip: If serving with pasta, double sauce recipe.
