Linguine with Oil and Garlic

Ingredients

cup FILIPPO BERIO® Extra Virgin Olive Oil, divided
|
|
10
|
cloves garlic, minced
|
|
3/4
|
pound uncooked linguine
|
|
1/4
|
teaspoon black pepper
|
|
1/4
|
teaspoon salt (optional)
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
1. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in small saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic; cook and stir until lightly browned. Remove from heat; set aside.
|
|
2. Cook linguine according to package directions until tender. Do not overcook.
|
|
3. Drain pasta; return to saucepan. Toss with garlic and olive oil mixture, remaining 6 tablespoons olive oil, pepper and salt, if desired.
