Zesty "Italian" Turkey Burgers
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
1/4 cup fat-free Italian dressing
1/4 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs
4 hamburger buns
4 basil leaves
4 slices tomato
4 slices onion
   
1. Preheat grill for direct-heat cooking.
2. In medium bowl combine turkey, dressing and bread crumbs. Shape turkey mixture into 4 patties, approximately 1/2 inch thick.
3. Grill turkey burgers 4 inches from heat, 5 to 6 minutes per side until 165°F is reached on meat thermometer and turkey is no longer pink in center.
4. To serve, place each burger on bottom half of bun and top with basil, tomato, onion and top half of bun.
