Orange-Thyme Granita in Cookie Cup
Yield: Makes 6 servings
Ingredients:

cups fresh orange juice
1/2
cup fresh lemon juice
1/4
cup sugar
1
teaspoon finely chopped fresh thyme

Lemon Anise Cookie Cups (recipe follows)
Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Lemo peel (optional)
Preparation:

Combine juices, sugar and thyme in medium bowl; stir until sugar dissolves. Freeze until slightly firm, about 1 hour. Beat with wire whisk to break ice crystals. Repeat freezing and beating process 2 to 3 times until ice is firm and granular.
2.
Meanwhile, prepare Lemon Anise Cookie Cups. To serve, scoop 1/2 cup granita into each cookie cup. Garnish with mint and lemon peel.
